Vogue Portugal featuring Elven Design Art's Couture Headpiece

Here is my featuring from Vogue Portugal Magazine, April 2014 printed edition, "Intriga Palaciana" article, created by Paulo Macedo, photography by Rui Aguiar, with my unique Japanese style flower headpiece embellished with Swarovski Elements and silk fabric.

Luxury Swarovski Elements Masquerade Masks "Butterfly Collection"

All women love jewelry ...  have you ever wanted to live in the 16th century under the influence of Renaissance masquerade balls?

Being an interior designer and a visual artist helped me a lot in combining classic materials and textures with modern design and surreal structures.

Each mask that I made for this special order was reinterpreted and to create them I used delicate and elegant materials with  precious tones of purple violet,blue,yellow , fuchsia pink and black.

    The base of each mask was covered in fine silk velvet on which were applied layers of lace and embroidery manually painted in gradient tones , natural feathers , silk flowers manually pigmented and coloured, semiprecious stones, rhinestones and , of course, the extravagant Swarovski crystals.

    The masks shown in the photos below were made ​​to order, but in the coming weeks I will launch a new collection of luxury Venetian masks made ​​of velvet , silk delicate flowers , semiprecious stones and Swarovski Elements.

The new collection is inspired by the Fantasy and Baroque style, made in my personal creative style, each piece being jewel-encrusted with Swarovski Elements, silvered mounted crystals and adorned with delicate flowers and manually painted embroidery.

    Extravagance , Luxury, Opulence and Elegance is the new style which respresents ElvenDesign  Accessories and Art.
